Position Details:
Job Title: Lab Technician (2nd/3rd Shift)- Onsite
Location: Santa Rosa, CA 95403
Duration: 03-06+ months contract (++possible extension)
Pay Rate: $22.50/hr
Shift: 2nd Shift - 11 am to 7:30 pm
Night Shift - 10 pm to 6:30 am

Description:

Read, understand, and follow written Standard Operating Procedures
-
Correctly identify analyzed samples and verify the accuracy of sequence for each batch
-
Process acquired instrument data and generate appropriate reports
-
Conduct the first review of GC/MS and/or LC/MS/MS analytical data by each assay SOP
-
Transcribe or upload results to the LIS for final review and certification
-
Maintain proper and adequate Chain of Custody batch documentation
-
Communication with supervisors and prompt escalation of emerging challenges
-
Maintain and promote a safe healthful environment for self and co-workers Required
Qualifications:
-
Bachelor's degree in chemistry or related field required.
-
At least one year of academic/industry experience working in an analytical lab.
-
The ability to work safely with biological specimens, chemicals, equipment, and instruments.
