Position Details:

Position: Terraform Developer

Location: Charlotte, NC & Dallas, TX

Pay Range: $70-$75/hour

Duration: 12-18 Months (Possibility of Full-Time Conversion)

About the Role:

We are seeking a skilled and motivated Terraform Developer to join our team in Charlotte, NC or Dallas, TX. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in developing and debugging Terraform modules, working with infrastructure-as-code in cloud and DevOps environments, and collaborating across teams to ensure seamless infrastructure automation and management.

Must-Have Skills:

• Strong hands-on experience with Terraform—writing, testing, and debugging modules
• Solid knowledge of infrastructure provisioning and configuration management technologies
• Experience in DevOps/CloudOps environments
• Ability to gather and interpret configurations from existing infrastructure (e.g., servers, firewalls, load balancers, applications)
• Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, or GCP is a plus)

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to design, build, and maintain Terraform infrastructure modules
• Provide detailed technical specifications for proposed infrastructure solutions
• Facilitate collaboration across departments to gather infrastructure requirements
• Analyze current infrastructure technologies and identify areas for improvement
• Document infrastructure updates and monitor implementation for continuous improvement
• Assist project management teams in tracking progress and resolving implementation roadblocks
• Proactively identify and address potential project challenges and risks
