Title: Data Engineer

Client: Investment Industry

Type: 6-Month Contract + Opportunity to Extend

Location:  Toronto, ON (4 days/week onsite), 37.5 hours/week

Collabera is seeking a Data Engineer to join a client in Downtown Toronto to help revamp an Analytics System Team. This analytics system tracks the lifecyle of a trade from understanding revenuw to number of trades conducted. This hands-on role involves building and maintaining custom software solutions that support trading and post-trade functions across a wide range of asset classes including equities, fixed income, derivatives, OTC, and FX. Working in close partnership with investment professionals and operations teams, this position provides direct visibility into the business impact of engineering efforts.

Must-Haves:

• 5+ years as a Data Engineer working in Financial Services
• Experience in capital markets, trading systems, and trade lifecycle processes
• Experience with Bi Tools ( QuickSite is what is currently being used)
• Strong hands-on experience in Python, RestAPI, AWS Cloud, and Microservices
• Strong SQL and database skills
• Ability to deliver scalable enterprise solutions in fast-paced environments
