Job Title: Controls Engineer

Duration: 06 Months (Extension based on performance)

Pay Range: $55 - $60/HR

• You will perform application-based sizing and selection of instrumentation and control devices critical for the operation and optimization of complex mechanical and process systems, including HVAC, Chilled Water, Compressed Air, and related utilities.
• Additionally, you will focus on engineering skills such as reviewing documentation, drawings, and specifications, contributing to project kickoffs, and understanding multiple disciplines.
• Collaboration with HMI developers and programmers to optimize data exchange protocols and enhance system usability, providing technical support to the Construction team, generating detailed construction drawings, and troubleshooting system outages are key aspects of this role. 

Must Haves:

• 3-5+ years of experience as a Controls Engineer or Instrumentation in an industrial environment
• 3-5+ years of experience with hardware selection, sensor sizing, reviewing P&IDs/PFDs, wiring details, technical bid evaluations
• 3-5+ years of experience supporting Instrumentation and Controls responsibilities for HVAC, Chilled Water, Compressed Air, and related Utilities
• 3-5+ years of experience owning the selection of appropriate circuit protection devices, wire and cable specifications, sensors, safety hardware, PLC hardware, remote I/O modules, Variable Frequency Drives (VFDs), and instrumentation.
• 3-5+ years of experience with AutoCAD, Revit; 3D modeling skills (e.g. Navisworks) a plus
• 3-5+ years of experience with SPI (InTools) or similar inhouse tools for the creation and management of instrument lists, wiring terminations, and calibrated ranges 
• Python, SQL, AWS

• This role is 95% Engineering and the other 5% is focused on Programming/Design
