Summary:
- We are seeking a hands-on Manufacturing Engineer to support the production of a diagnostic catheter product that integrates electrical, magnetic, and mechanical components.
- This position plays a critical role on the production floor, working directly with Operators, Equipment, and cross-functional teams to ensure efficient, high-quality manufacturing operations.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide real-time support to Operators by responding to escalations and addressing production issues
- Perform basic troubleshooting of production and testing equipment
- Conduct scrap dissections and contribute to root cause analysis
- Identify, define, and implement process improvements
- Use MS Office Suite (Excel, Word, PowerPoint, etc.) for documentation, reporting, and communication
- Collaborate closely with production teams and foster strong working relationships
- Support training efforts and promote best practices among Operators
- Maintain a proactive, problem-solving mindset and operate independently when needed
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering (required)
- 2–4 years of relevant FDA, GMP industry experience (hands-on experience strongly preferred)
- Expirirnce with Minitab, MATLAB preferred.
- Previous experience in medical device manufacturing or cleanroom environments is a plus.
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, highly interactive, and hands-on production setting.
Pay Range:
- $30-35/Hr
