Title: Environment Manager / Release Manager
Type (Contract, C2H): 1 year contract (extension)
Location: Toronto, ON (3x/week - Hybrid)
Shift/Core Hours: 37.5 (9 am - 5pm with flexibility) i.e. meetings at 7 or 8 am, with ability to end earlier
Compensation: $75-$78/hour
What are they expected to accomplish on a high level:
- Process testing
- Internal audit for environment management
- Putting a change intro production, ensure it is tested, getting approvals, give evidence of process being followed
- Working with development teams - ensure process is being followed.
- Agile process
- Supporting developers to ensure Agile is followed
- Deploying code to production
- Understand tech stack and environment (upstream/downstream)
- Environment/ release management
- Deployment / capturing evidence of changes to production.
Day to day responsibilities:
- Supporting development teams ensuring Agile process is being followed
- Environment management experience
- Ensure code is moving to production
Must-haves/key skills needed:
- 5 - 7 years of experience (with banking exp)
- Jira
- Confluence
- Agile Methodology (SAFE)
- Team Player - Good attitude / supportive to work together, supporting platform teams
- Banking experience (understanding internal audits)
- Scrum Master/ Release Manager/ Environment management (pushing code to production
- Familiarity with deployment protocols, CABs, and post-deployment validations.
- Strong communication (working with teams onshore and offshore)
- Excellent written documentation, coordination, and follow-up skills
- Ability to collaborate across multiple squads/teams, ensuring approvals and evidence trail are complete.
