Senior Financial Analyst

Key Responsibilities:

Build interactive dashboards and custom reports using Power BI and Tableau from scratch

Write complex SQL queries to extract, transform, and load data independently from enterprise databases

Integrate data into reporting tools and ensure accuracy and consistency across visualizations
-
Understand business and financial data context to provide actionable insights
-
Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements, translate them into technical deliverables, and present findings effectively
-
Support data validation, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement of reporting processes
-
Use Excel for post-report analysis, supporting ad hoc financial reporting where necessary
-
Leverage VB macros as needed for automation in legacy reporting processes (lower priority)
Must-Have Qualifications:

Power BI: Strong hands-on experience designing dashboards from scratch (must-have)

Tableau: Intermediate to advanced experience required; must be able to independently create visualizations

SQL: Critical skill – candidate must be able to write queries, join tables, and extract relevant data without support

Excel: Good working knowledge; used as a secondary tool after BI platforms

VB Macros: Basic to moderate experience is a plus but not essential

Strong communication and collaboration skills for stakeholder engagement

Solid analytical thinking with the ability to interpret both the technical and financial implications of the data
