About the Role:

We are seeking a DataStage Production Support Analyst to join our team in Charlotte, NC. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience supporting large-scale production environments with strong expertise in DataStage and Informatica. This role requires proactive monitoring, troubleshooting, automation, and collaboration with multiple teams to ensure the stability and reliability of mission-critical applications.

 

Key Responsibilities:

  • Monitor and triage application jobs across multiple DataStage/Informatica production environments.
  • Perform root cause analysis and drive both immediate fixes and long-term solutions.
  • Respond to user issues, incident tickets, and production alerts in a timely manner.
  • Manage 190+ migration tasks using XLR and support ongoing change/migration work.
  • Perform weekly patching across 16+ platforms, including start/stop of services.
  • Collaborate closely with application, upstream, and downstream teams for smooth operations.
  • Provide support for manual activities along with automation-driven improvements.
  • Participate in on-call and weekend coverage rotations as needed.

 

What We’re Looking For:

  • 3–6 years of hands-on DataStage & Informatica production support experience (L1/L2).
  • Strong knowledge of DataStage (container transfers) and Informatica workflows.
  • Experience implementing cloud-based solutions.
  • Solid understanding of large databases and data warehouses.
  • Strong skills in scripting & automation for platform support.
  • Familiarity with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace and Splunk (preferred).
  • Excellent problem-solving, root cause analysis, and escalation handling skills.
  • Strong communication skills with the ability to work effectively across multiple teams.
  • Ability to thrive in high-pressure environments.

 

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $50 – $55 per hour

This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
