About the Role:

We are hiring a Production Support Engineer to join our client on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative  Banking companies in the U.S.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identifies possible production failure scenarios, creates incident tickets, enhancements and/or problem tickets in ticket tracking system, and communicates effectively with development and internal business operations teams.
• Identifies vulnerabilities and opportunities for improvement, as well as maintain metrics to help develop analysis that will drive improvement in all areas of Production Services.
• Creates and enhances administrative, operational and technical policies and procedures, adopting best practice guidelines, standards and procedures. Takes ownership of escalations and perform trouble shooting, analysis, research and resolution using advanced query and programming skills
• Consults with end users to determine optimal configuration of equipment and applications. 

What We’re Looking For:

• Splunk for Monitoring
• Strong knowledge of Cloud technology (AWS preferred)
• Understanding of Merchant Services- working with credit card (They know how flows work, authorization, payment knowledge and everything the bank handles for the merchant in the transaction)
• Understanding of Merchant Services
• Root Cause Analysis 

Compensation:

• Hourly Rate: $55 - $60/hr
  This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
