Position: Industrial Mechanical Technician
Industry: Steel Manufacturing
Type: Full-Time, On-site
Location: Lexington, NC (4-on, 4-off shift)

Day to day:

• Working 4x a week on rotating shifts.
• Perform regular maintenance.
• Troubleshoot complex mechanical systems.
• Work on a team on the machines in the plant.
• Working on machines like siemens, castings, overhead cranes and motor controls.
• Perform preventive maintenance.

Must haves:

• Theoretical and practical knowledge of gears, motors, shafts, couplings and other electro-mechanical equipment.
• Experience troubleshooting mechanical systems.
• Prior experience in an industrial plant.
• Ability to work on rotating shifts.

Salary and Compensation:
The total annual compensation for this position is between $100000 - $120000 per year. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
