Title: IT Project Coordinator
Location: Hybrid – Toronto, ON
Duration: 6+ Months Contract
Compensation: $60-65/hour

Day-to-Day Responsibilities:
- Support PMO operations and manage day-to-day program administration tasks.
- Track budgets, financial processes, and vendor invoicing to ensure alignment with delivery timelines.
- Provide oversight and coordination across multiple initiatives; collaborate with project managers on governance, compliance, and reporting requirements.
- Assist with internal and external audits, ensuring documentation and IT governance standards are met.
- Prepare and maintain accurate reports, dashboards, and project artifacts.
- Schedule and facilitate meetings, track action items, and ensure timely follow-up.
- Pick up and manage smaller projects or workstreams as needed.
- Act as a central point of contact for stakeholders, ensuring smooth communication across teams.
Must-Have Skills & Experience:
- 5+ years of experience as a Project Coordinator or similar role within an IT or PMO environment.
- Strong financial management experience—budget tracking, vendor invoicing, and cost oversight.
- Proficiency with PMO tools (Clarity, Smartsheet, JIRA, MS Project, or similar).
- Knowledge of IT governance, compliance, and audit processes.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with the ability to juggle multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills for stakeholder engagement at all levels.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively, with a proactive “roll-up-your-sleeves” approach.
Nice-to-Have:
- Previous experience in the insurance industry (commercial insurance is a strong asset).
- Exposure to regulatory and compliance environments in financial services or insurance.
- PMP, CAPM, or similar certifications.
