Position Title:  Finance Manager III

Duration: 3 months (Possible extension)

Location: North Chicago, IL 60064 (Hybrid (3 day onsite / 2 day remote – flexible)

Role Overview:

The Finance Manager III will support the brand teams by managing vendor relationships, assumptions, and forecasts while enhancing automation and reporting processes. This role will help transition forecast ownership from external vendors to the internal Finance team and design financial reporting tools to improve visibility and decision-making.

Key Responsibilities:

• Vendor Management & Assumption Management
• Act as liaison between Finance team and external vendors
• Manage assumptions, data accuracy, and forecast timelines
• Vendor interaction is critical for this role
• Forecasting & Variance Analysis
• Build/adapt Excel-based financial models for forecasting
• Conduct variance analysis linked to forecast assumptions
• Automation & Reporting Gaps
• Enhance reporting automation and design reporting packages for leadership
• Use Power BI/PowerPoint (preferred) to create reporting dashboards
• Project Management & Collaboration
• Manage forecasting projects and deadlines
• Support brand teams and internal Finance during transition period

Must-Have Skills:

1. Advanced Excel (Financial Modeling & Analysis)
2. Project Management experience
3. Vendor Management & strong communication skills
4. Variance Analysis & Forecasting experience
5. Analytical mindset to drive process improvement

Nice-to-Have Skills:

• Power BI or reporting automation tools
• PowerPoint for leadership presentations
• Any industry background acceptable; pharma experience is a plus but not required
