Position Details:

• Training: 1-month training program, Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 4:30 PM
• Regular Shifts: 8-hour shifts rotating every 2 weeks:
• Shift 1: 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM
• Shift 2: 9:00 AM – 5:30 PM
• Shift 3: 11:00 AM – 7:30 PM
• Breaks: 30-minute lunch + 30-minute additional break
• Rotation: Mandatory 2-week rotation cycle (no flexibility)
• Days: Monday–Friday (no weekends, no overtime required)

• Review prescriptions for accuracy, proper dosage, and formulation.
• Compound medications using standard formulas (weighing, measuring, mixing).
• Supervise pharmacy staff in mixing, packaging, and labeling.
• Verify prescriptions vs. physician orders (pharmacist verification levels 1 & 2).
• Provide drug information on interactions, side effects, dosage, and storage.
• Maintain patient prescription records, medication costs, and inventory control.
• Ensure compliance with quality standards, controlled substance security, and proper hazardous drug disposal.
• Guide and train interns and new pharmacy staff.
• Eventually manage inbound and outbound calls once fully settled in the role.

• Must have: Active Illinois Pharmacist License (license number must be listed or verifiable on resume).
• 0–10 years of experience in retail pharmacy (CVS, Walgreens, Target) or high-volume mail-order pharmacy.
• Recent PharmD graduates licensed in Illinois will also be considered.
• Detail-oriented, independent worker with strong organizational skills.
• Ability to stand for extended periods and occasionally push carts up to 30 lbs.

• Active Illinois Pharmacist License.
• Experience in retail or high-volume mail-order pharmacy.
• Strong multitasking ability and attention to detail.
• Self-motivated with a growth mindset.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

• High-volume prescription dispensing experience (500+ prescriptions/day).
• Comfort working in distribution or mail-order settings
• Familiarity with rotating shifts and flexible scheduling.
• Ability to interact with patients and providers when required.

• Candidates must be comfortable with structured shift rotations (no exceptions).
• Overtime is not required but may be offered.
