Job Title: Windows Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC
Work Arrangement: Hybrid
Client Industry: Banking
Duration: 12-18 Months
Schedule: Monday to Friday, 8 AM – 5 PM EST
Day to Day Responsibilities:

Develop and/or update scripts to collect Windows-related error logs and device information to improve efficiency of the system

Manage ITSM Remedy queue; create ITSM Remedy incidents
-
Provide advanced Windows OS support for users
-
Troubleshoot Windows/upgrade related issues
-
Proactively identify Windows OS/hardware performance improvements and collaborate with OS engineering team and implement them
-
Test and verify that updates to infrastructure and/or systems do not break existing automations
-
Develop and/or update Splunk queries to perform Windows OS-related searches
-
Ability to read and utilize event logs and ETL traces for performance and functional issues
Must Haves:
-
7+ years of industry experience
-
Deep understanding of M365
-
Enterprise experience
-
Intune
-
Experience with core MS Exchange technologies such as DAG clustering, RBAC security, Directory Sites, DNS/F5, email routing configurations, Transport Rules, Litigation Hold and Regulatory Journaling
What We’re Looking For
- 7+ of experience as a Windows Engineer
- experience in M365, Intune
- Strong communication and stakeholder management skills
Compensation
Hourly Rate: $50 - $55 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
