• Receive, check, store, issue and ship a variety of items and maintain inventory control and customer property
• Prepare shipping documents and all paperwork that accompanies the shipment, using computer hardware/software
• Verify all work and documentation for accuracy and completeness
• Use assistance and/or powered mechanical means (including forklift) to load, unload, store and deliver a variety of incoming and outgoing material
• Prepare and package small and large parts using proper procedures and materials
• Palletize boxes and parts for storage or shipment using stretch wrap and banding
• Oversee parts preparation, material handling, measuring and packaging equipment; records calibration logs of tools and equipment
• Perform operator preventative maintenance tasks and refers major breakdowns to machine maintenance
• Maintain contact with personnel from various customers and supports areas to ensure accuracy of material/process
• Use assorted measuring and weight recording devices
• Keep equipment and surrounding areas neat and clean
• Lift up to 25 pounds unassisted, with or without a reasonable accommodation
• Work on feet (stand) the entire day
• Perform related duties as required

• Typically requires HS diploma (or equivalent, e.g. G.E.D. in the US) or vocational/technical education in related discipline with a minimum of 1 year of relevant experience

• Current forklift certification preferred; the company will provide training and certification for qualified candidates without one
• 1 year of warehouse experience
• Experience using computer systems for shipping and inventory tasks.
