- Collabera is seeking a Controls Programming Engineer to support the largest EV manufacturer in the world. In this role, you will design, develop, and implement advanced control systems that power critical production facilities and infrastructure - including process utilities, HVAC, electrical, and building automation systems.
- You’ll collaborate closely with internal stakeholders to uncover challenges, define system requirements, and create strategies that optimize operations.
- Day to day, you’ll write and maintain technical documentation, from schematics to detailed specifications, while troubleshooting, debugging, and resolving system issues to ensure reliability. Beyond maintenance, you’ll take full ownership of assigned systems, driving improvements that enhance efficiency, sustainability, and energy performance.

- 3-5+ Years of experience working as a Controls Programming Engineer in a manufacturing or industrial/Data Center Environment
- 3-5+ years of programming experience with Programmable Logic Controllers or PLCs and Human Machine Interface or HMIs
- 3-5+ years of experience with SCADA (Supervisory Control and Data Acquisition) systems (preferably Ignition)
- 3-5+ years of experience programming in C++ and Python or Java
- Solid understanding of sensors, including good knowledge of sensor setup, commissioning, and calibration.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to troubleshoot complex control system issues
- Electric Vehicle Manufacturing industry experience
