Duration: Full time (FTE)
JOB DESCRIPTION:
- Define and maintain the target state architecture for AFSVision modernization, ensuring alignment with enterprise standards and security protocols.
- Lead creation and review of solution architecture deliverables (e.g., FSDs, integration patterns, data flows), and provide guidance to squads during design and development.
- Work with Enterprise Architects and infrastructure/security teams to validate compliance, secure approvals, and manage governance routines.
- Mentor architects, guide architecture communities of practice, and enforce architectural standards across teams.
- Stay current on IT trends and best practices in Commercial Lending to ensure solutions remain scalable, secure, and innovative
Must Haves:
- 8+ years of experience with a bachelor’s in computer science, Information Systems, or equivalent
- Experienced Solution Architect with a background in banking and commercial lending
- Expertise in modern architectural principles, domain-driven design, event-driven architecture, RESTful APIs, and cloud-native platforms
- Strong skills in security architecture, cross-functional collaboration, and effective communication
- Experience with security architecture, including IAM, encryption, and data protection
Pluses:
- Experience working directly with tech leads and developers to ensure architectural alignment during implementation
- Experience modernizing legacy platforms and integrating with
- Commercial Lending systems (e.g., AFSVision)
- Familiarity with SAFe Agile practices and operating within Agile Release Trains
- Experience producing and governing architecture deliverables such as FSDs, integration specs, and data flow diagrams
Compensation
Annual Salary: 140-145k/annual
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
