About the Role
We are seeking a Technician to join our Quality & Investigations team. In this role, you will be responsible for investigating returned medical devices (blood glucose meters, strips, and sensors), documenting findings, and supporting product quality improvements. This is an excellent opportunity for individuals with a technical background or recent graduates eager to start a career in the medical device industry.
Key Responsibilities
- Safely unpack and sort returned products by product line.
- Investigate customer complaints regarding medical devices and document findings in the Complaint Handling System.
- Use troubleshooting equipment (multimeters, oscilloscopes, test fixtures, microscopes, etc.) to perform product investigations.
- Maintain accurate quality records and ensure testing equipment is calibrated and valid.
- Follow written work instructions and SOPs with attention to detail.
- Perform routine and repetitive investigations while maintaining focus and accuracy.
Qualifications
- Minimum: High School Diploma or equivalent (GED) with relevant technical experience.
- Preferred: Recent college graduates with a Bachelor’s degree in a technical/engineering field.
- Experience in the Medical Device / Biotech industry is a plus.
- Knowledge of electronic troubleshooting highly preferred.
- Strong computer skills, including MS Office and data entry.
- Excellent documentation skills and ability to follow SOPs.
- Strong teamwork, communication, and problem-solving skills.
