Position Details:
The Financial Analyst will support the Division FP&A HQ team by providing high-quality financial planning and analysis. This role involves building and managing financial reports, supporting business reviews, preparing detailed analyses, and handling ad hoc requests. The successful candidate will play a key role in enabling management decision-making and ensuring compliance with GAAP and company policies.
- Prepare financial analyses and reports (Plans, Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), Long-Range Projections (LRP)) for P&L and balance sheet metrics, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.
- Support management reviews and decision-making through clear data presentation while maintaining data integrity and compliance with policies.
- Maintain and improve effective planning processes, including planning calendars, deliverables, and timelines.
- Develop tools, templates, and system solutions to streamline consolidation, reporting, and process efficiency.
- Support the Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP) process by managing monthly financial performance metrics (sales variances, expense variances, CCC, IBP, etc.).
- Partner with the Global Marketing team to build budgets and forecasts.
- Perform month-end close activities, including revenue reconciliation, journal entries, expense summaries, and project spend analysis.
- Prepare and analyze daily and weekly sales reporting/projections.
- Maintain finance scorecards, ensuring alignment and deliverables from other finance groups.
- Lead ad hoc financial modeling, data mining, and cross-business analytic projects for senior management.
- Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (or equivalent work experience).
- 7+ years of progressive experience in accounting and/or finance roles.
- Strong Excel skills with demonstrated ability in financial modeling and reporting.
- Proven analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.
- Ability to communicate and present financial data effectively to support decision-making.
- Demonstrated initiative, efficiency, and ability to streamline processes.
- Solid understanding of accounting principles and compliance standards.
