Day to Day Responsibilities
A large manufacturing company located in Vaughan is looking to hire a Business Analyst to join the enterprise technology team. The successful candidate will be responsible for liaising between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring clear communication and alignment on project goals. They will lead and manage large-scale IFS projects, including budgeting, timeline tracking, and reporting to leadership. This person will also understand system code and behavior to effectively analyze issues and propose solutions (no software development required but must understand code and system behavior). They will provide user support as needed, primarily on projects you’ve previously delivered (not focused on day-to-day ticket resolution), will collaborate with multiple business groups to gather requirements, identify needs, and drive solutions, and will maintain a big-picture focus, ensuring projects move forward with minimal supervision. The successful candidate will perform the following tasks:
- Act as the primary support resource for IFS ERP, focusing on staff augmentation and project support (not day-to-day ticket resolution).
- Manage and deliver multiple business-facing projects (approx. 40% of workload)
- Collaborate with cross-functional groups (Finance, Projects, Operations, etc.)
- Provide general user support (approx. 20%) and project documentation (5–10%)
- Proactively engage business stakeholders, raise flags, and ensure project budgets/timelines are met

Must-Haves
- 3+ years hands-on IFS ERP experience (core functionality, older versions like 7.5 an asset).
- Business Analyst background (minimum 2 years):
- Gathering requirements (BRD will be provided)
- Documentation of user transactions and developing new workflows
- Liaising between business and technical teams
- Strong communication skills (verbal & written)
- Proactive, independent, and able to push initiatives forward without handholding.
- Finance domain knowledge (especially IFIS / ERP finance modules)
