Day to Day:

• Develop comprehensive technical performance test plans aligned with project requirements.

• Design and build data-driven load test scripts using Citrix Protocol.

• Utilize tools such as LoadRunner or JMeter to design, execute, and analyze load and performance tests.

• Lead activities related to data creation necessary for simulating load test scenarios.

• Perform and coordinate a variety of load tests, including standard load, failover, and aging scenarios, ensuring robust coverage of system performance metrics.

• Engage cross-functionally with software development, architecture, infrastructure, and production support to triage defects and plan for production stability.

• Document and report test results using established processes, including structured email communication.

• Actively participate in project and team meetings, contributing insights and recommendations.

Must-haves:

• Minimum 5 years' experience in Performance Engineering, spanning beyond basic performance testing.

• End-to-end application ownership, including performance testing, tuning, requirements gathering, status reporting, and handling ad hoc requests.

• Hands-on expertise with LoadRunner, Dynatrace, and Splunk.

• Experience leading teams or taking ownership of performance engineering initiatives.

• Proven background in large-scale enterprise environments handling critical application projects.

• Excellent performance engineering skills, demonstrated through past project delivery.

• Strong communication skills with the ability to collaborate globally and maintain a positive attitude.

Technical skills:

• Proficiency with load testing tools: LoadRunner, JMeter (or similar) used in real-world projects.

• Hands-on experience with monitoring/APM tools: Dynatrace, AppDynamics, New Relic, or Introscope.

• Expertise in log analysis tools: Splunk, Kibana, Log Stash.

Pluses:

• Additional skills in programming: Java, Python, and VB Script (code fixes or data creation).

• Experience with SQL analysis and tuning.

• Exposure to cloud environments and CI/CD automation.

• Knowledge of emerging technologies, cloud computing, and data science.
