Data Center Facility Operations Specialist
-
Responsible for Data Center Engineering Facility Operations within a Data Center including risk management and mitigation, corrective and preventative maintenance of critical infrastructure, vendor management and metric reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Seeking candidates with 1–2 years of technician experience handling issues from Layer 1 to Layer 3. Role is installation-focused: receiving racks, positioning, cabling, labeling, logging into equipment, and troubleshooting.
- Top Skills:
- Break/fix troubleshooting of network equipment (highest priority).
- Cabling/rack installation (trainable if break/fix background is strong).
- Logging into devices and resolving issues through to customer impact.
Preferred Qualifications

Electrical and/or HVAC trade certifications or 5+ years of data center or mission critical facilities (example: hospital, military facility, public safety facility, etc.) experience.

Fundamental knowledge of network design and layout as well as low voltage (copper/ fiber) cabling.
Shift Schedule:
- Front half: Sunday–Wednesday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
- Back half: Wednesday–Saturday, 7:00 a.m. – 5:30 p.m.
