Must Have:
- 5+ years in software engineering with 2+ years as an architect or technical lead specializing in systems integration.
- Proven experience in retail e-commerce workflows including catalog/PIM, search, cart/checkout, payments, order/fulfillment, and customer loyalty systems.
- Strong expertise in API Management (Azure API Management, Apigee, Kong), OpenAPI specifications, and API lifecycle management.
- Hands-on proficiency in messaging and streaming platforms such as Kafka/Confluent, Azure Event Hubs, or RabbitMQ, with knowledge of schema registry and DLQs.
- Solid understanding of event-driven architecture (CQRS, event sourcing, saga/outbox patterns) and data consistency patterns like CDC and eventual consistency.
- Practical backend experience with Node.js or ASP.NET Core for API/service development using REST and GraphQL.
- Strong foundation in security and DevOps—OAuth2/OIDC, JWT, Key Vault,
- Azure or GCP, Kubernetes/Docker, CI/CD, and IaC (Terraform/Bicep).
Deep knowledge of observability practices—OpenTelemetry, distributed tracing, and monitoring using Prometheus, Grafana, or Azure Monitor.
Pay Rate Range: 60-95/hr (Open for rate exceptions) and FTE - 140K base Salary
