Job Title: Call Centre Representative/Customer Support
Client: Educational
Location: Stanford, CA 94305 - Onsite Role
Duration: 03 Months (High Possibility of extension as well as conversion)
Pay Rate: ($24-$25) hourly
- 3 to 6 weeks of training from M-F in between 5 AM and 5 PM.
- After training, the Shift will be fixed between 5 AM and 11:30 PM.
Key Responsibilities:
- Answer and route high-volume calls for the University and Medical Center.
- Provide directory information, assist with conference calls, and support paging requests.
- Dispatch and coordinate medical emergency teams (e.g., cardiac arrest, trauma, fire, disaster recovery).
- Maintain call center databases, directories, and reference materials.
- Deliver after-hours communication support for the organization entities.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of experience in customer service or call center environment (medical/university setting preferred).
- Strong verbal and written communication skills; polished phone etiquette.
- Ability to type 40–50 WPM with accuracy.
- Familiarity with paging/telecommunications systems and basic computer operations (Mac/DOS).
- Ability to remain calm, professional, and tactful under pressure.
- Team player with flexibility to work weekends, holidays, or overtime as needed.
