Duration: 06 to 12 months (Possible extension)

Key Responsibilities:

• Performs the preparation of required 3D models and drawings using Solidworks.
• Prepares precision mechanical design layout per verbal instructions, mechanical sketches, existing hardware or engineering lab models, received from both mechanical and electrical engineering and/or other technical support personnel
• Completes the preparation of the necessary technical documentation for the release of Mechanical Hardware designs into the company documentation control system
• Assists engineering in the preparation of documentation for the revision of drawings, previously released to the document control system. Understands the value of cooperating with coworkers.
• Understands the importance of monitoring the status and quality of one's own work.
• Appreciates the importance of basing decisions on factual information and sound logic.
• Understands fundamental communication styles and techniques.
• Understands the importance of staying calm and relaxed under pressured situations.
• Maintains an organized calendar.

Qualification:

• Education: BS in engineering.

Must Have:

• Proficient in SolidWorks
• Understanding of machinery design
• Team player

Preferred:

• HVAC/refrigeration experience
• Experience working with large 3D models
• Semi-conductor industry experience
  PDM Experience
• Understanding of electro-mechanical assemblies
