Job Title: Financial Analyst (Tax Accounting)
Client: Banking
Location: Buffalo, NY - 14203(Hybrid)
Duration: 4 Months (possibility of full-time conversion based on performance)
Hours: 40 hours per week | Monday–Friday, 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM EST
Pay Range: $28/hr. - $30/hour

Key Responsibilities:

Analyze and document temporary differences and tax credits.

Review, prepare, and book tax-related journal entries in the system.

Assist in preparing tax estimates, extensions, and audit documentation.

Support state tax audits by gathering and providing data to managers.

Identify and recommend process improvements within the tax accounting function.

Coordinate with cross-functional teams such as leasing, corporate reporting, and subsidiaries.

Maintain accuracy and timeliness in all financial reporting deliverables.
Qualifications:

Education: Bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, or related field preferred).

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.

Self-motivated team player who takes initiative and seeks additional responsibility.
