Job Title: Logistics Coordinator

Location: Evadale, TX 77615 - Onsite

Duration: 12 Months - (Extension/Conversion based on performance)

Pay Range: ($22-$24) hourly

Shift Hours: 12 hours daily with a 36/48 hour rotating shift, 5 AM- 5 PM / 5 PM - 5 AM with OT as needed.

Job Summary:

• We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Logistics Coordinator to support our Logistics Manager and team in a fast-paced, collaborative environment.
• The ideal candidate will be responsible for coordinating shipments, managing inventory data, and ensuring smooth communication between the load center, carriers, and warehouse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Review Balance to Ship (BTS) reports and resolve material shortages.

• Assist in the execution of physical inventory activities at the mill.

• Coordinate daily shipping priorities, including loading changes, hot loads, and export shipments.

• Enter shipment details into the system for trailers, intermodal containers, and export loads.

• Manage daily yard checks and driver check-ins.

• Collaborate with carriers, the load center, and warehouses to resolve logistics or loading issues.

• Generate Canadian Customs Invoices in SAP and maintain shipment documentation (BOLs, inspection forms, waybills).

• Track and log railcars, monitor demurrage, and manage railcar orders and disputes.

• Ensure adherence to FIFO (First-In, First-Out) principles and accurate reporting of daily shipments.

• Prepare and distribute daily and shift-end reports (e.g., Balance to Ship, Morning Report).

Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or GED required; post-secondary education in logistics or supply chain preferred.

• 1–3 years of experience in logistics, transportation, or manufacturing environments.

• Experience with SAP or similar ERP systems preferred.

• Strong computer skills (Excel, Word, and reporting tools).
