Position: Instrumentation & Controls Technician

Location: Austin, TX (5x on-site)
Interviews: 1 round panel interview (30-45 minutes)
Per-Diem included: $90/day

Day to day:

• Support the automation systems powering large-scale vehicle production.

• Maintaining and optimizing critical instrumentation and control equipment across core utility systems, ensuring accurate performance and reliable system operation (Proving devices are functioning properly).
• Work closely with Controls Engineers and HMI developers to support commissioning, testing, and ongoing maintenance efforts while ensuring seamless communication between field devices and control systems.
• Support project execution and maintain the precision and efficiency of essential production and Data Center infrastructure.

Must haves:

• 4-5+ years of experience as a Controls/Instrumentation Technician
• 4-5+ years of experience calibrating transmitters, fluid meters, valves, sensors, and part communicators
• 4-5+ years of experience defining P&ID drawings and running loop checks
• 4-5+ years of experience testing controls systems (running I/O loop checks, verifying sensors, controllers, and actuators to meet functional requirements)
• 4-5+ years of experience troubleshooting industrial controls systems (Transmitters, wiring, and PLCs)

Salary and Compensation:
The hourly rate for this position is between $44 - $48 per hour. Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.
