Education Requirements:

Bachelor’s Degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (graduates from 2023, 2024, or 2025)

Job Summary:

We are seeking highly motivated Associate Distribution Engineers to join our team. This is a fully on-site role in multiple U.S. locations. Candidates will support electrical distribution projects including overhead, underground, URD, Make Ready, and streetlight systems. The role offers hands-on experience in both office and field settings, utilizing engineering principles, GIS, WMS systems, and industry-standard tools.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop design and construction work packages for electrical distribution systems (4kV–138kV), including OH, UG, URD, and streetlight projects.
  • Use GIS and WMS systems such as GE Smallworld, Bentley Expert Designer, and Maximo to support design and construction activities.
  • Conduct field inspections and return to office to complete engineering design tasks.
  • Perform engineering calculations: structural analysis, guying, conductor sags/tensions, voltage drop, and flicker.
  • Prepare permitting documents and support easements/ROW applications.
  • Provide engineering support during construction, including post-construction reviews.
  • Conduct root cause analysis of outages and propose mitigation solutions.
  • Adhere to company and client safety standards, as well as engineering and design quality expectations.

Basic Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Civil, Industrial, or Manufacturing Engineering from an ABET-accredited university (2023–2025 graduates).
  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook).
  • Ability to travel using personal vehicle as needed (reimbursed at IRS-approved rates).
  • Willingness to work both in office and field environments.
  • Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.
