Day-to-day Responsibilities:
- In this position you will be part of a team that manages a suite of 3rd party products that our Telecommunications Client sells on our Marketplace platform. These products range includes Mobile Threat Defense services, Mobile Device Management services, Compliance services as well as business services such as accounting, financial, productivity solutions. These services are sold in conjunction with Telecommunications Client core services – calling plans, devices etc.
- This individual has a blend of technical, analytical and business and technical will ensure Telecommunications Client’s Marketplace remains competitive and drives revenue growth, working closely with business sponsors, users and customers to identify key pain points and collaborative design, build solutions that delight the end-user and then partner with sales and service to sell those products to meet the revenue targets. The PM possesses a blend of business and technical expertise, can see the big picture, drive revenue and has the confidence to make vision into reality.
Key Responsibilities:
- Interview Sales Teams to document customer case studies – what they sold, how they sold it etc.
- Track revenue trends – work with billing and financial settlement teams to track profitability trends and work with those teams to identify and resolve issues
- Work with product peers and marketing to manage sales facing content for the marketplace solutions
- Develop business cases – research, build, obtain Finance approvals
- Review and provide feedback on customer and sales experience
- Work with senior product manager to productize Marketplace offers - work with partner teams to make Marketplace solutions an ‘attach’ or ‘add on’ to Telecommunications Client core services
- Conduct market research customer needs, pain points and perform competitor gap analysis, identifying new offerings to drive growth and converting /refining them into product ideas.
- Work closely with product marketers and engineers to understand the market and technology trends, define and drive product vision, business case, product strategy and distill a product roadmap.
- Partner with the engineering and technology organizations on product development to deliver products that are fit for purpose and desirable in the market.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Sales organization on product positioning, messaging, creating a product distribution and commercialization plan, creating and setting product targets and enablement needs and creating solutions that meet those needs Identify future potential and opportunity space for your product and get your teams, customers and business network excited about it.
