Must haves:
- 2–4 years of experience in residential mortgage underwriting, adjudication, or fulfillment with an alternative or near-prime lender.
- Previous experience working with institutions such as Home Trust, Haventree Bank, Sagen, Equitable Bank, or other B-lenders is highly preferred.
- Strong understanding of B-lending and alternative lending products, including self-employed borrower programs and non-traditional income verification.
- Experience working with mortgage documentation, credit bureau analysis, and adjudication systems.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build strong relationships with brokers, sales teams, and internal partners.
- High attention to detail and the ability to prioritize multiple files in a high-volume environment.
- Candidates with backgrounds as Associate Underwriters, Fulfillment Officers, or Mortgage Officers in the B-lending space are strongly encouraged to apply.
- Candidates from the A-lending space with transferable credit and documentation experience will also be considered.
Salary Range: $70K - $80K Base
