Position Summary:
The Clinical Data Manager will be responsible for overseeing data management activities across 3–5 clinical trials. This role will collaborate closely with Project Managers, Clinical Scientists, Statisticians, and other stakeholders to ensure data integrity, compliance, and accuracy throughout all study phases. The ideal candidate will bring strong analytical thinking, organizational skills, and a detail-oriented approach to managing complex clinical data workflows.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead or participate in the review of clinical research documents, including study protocols, reports, and statistical analysis plans.
- Oversee the end-to-end data management process—from CRF (Case Report Form) design and database setup to data review, cleaning, and trial closure activities.
- Ensure clinical data is collected, verified, and managed according to best practices and regulatory standards.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with internal and external partners to resolve data discrepancies and maintain data quality.
- Provide data management expertise and guidance in project meetings and team discussions.
- Support continuous improvement of data management systems, tools, and processes.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities.
- Proven experience in data management or data analysis (non-statistical).
- Excellent organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple priorities.
- Detail-oriented mindset with a focus on data accuracy and consistency.
- Effective communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Experience:
- Minimum 3 years of experience in clinical operations or a healthcare-related field.
- Experience providing consultative support and serving as a subject matter expert to guide team decisions.
- Familiarity with clinical data collection best practices and global clinical operations standards.
Education:
- Bachelor’s degree in Biology, Health Sciences, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
