Position Title: SSO Engineer

Location: Raleigh, NC - Charlotte, NC – Minneapolis, MN – Des Moines, IA -Dallas, TX - Iselin, NJ - Chandler/Phoenix, AZ (Hybrid)

Contract Length: 24 months

DayToDay Responsbilities:

  • This team currently has apps integrated with Siteminder and apps integrated with Otka – they are phasing Siteminder out and moving these applications to Okta
  • Candidates must be strong with SSO concepts and have integrated multiple applications using SSO products like Okta ,Ping or Azure AD.
  • Candidates must have experience working closely with application teams and troubleshooting with end users
  • This team uses Splunk for logging and SiteScope for monitoring as troubleshooting tools but will accept candidates with other troubleshooting tools as well
  • Targeting strong knowledge of Single Sign-On (SSO) concepts and integration
  • Hands-on experience with Okta
  • Experience with Azure (only for SSO integrations)
  • 3–4 years of SSO integration experience

Must Have:

  • 4+ years of experience with integrating and deploying applications with Single Sign on products (SSO) such as Okta ,Ping or Azure AD
  • Hands on experience troubleshooting SSO (single sign on) issues with end users
  • Proficient in Agent Based, Web Based and Federated Authentication and Authorization standards
  • Strong hands-on experience with industry standard SSO technologies and protocols (OAuth, OpenID Connect, FIDO, SAML 2.0)
  • Experience with incident, problem, and change management
  • Experience configuring alerts with tools such as Splunk
  • Unix/Windows patching experience
  • Experience handling major production incident bridges with multiple stakeholders
  • Excellent communication and documentation skills

NiceToHave:

  • Knowledge of LDAP and Active Directory services, MFA, Risk based authentication and privileged access management
  • Familiarity with deployments and integration of IAM solutions within the cloud (Azure, AWS or GCP)
  • Knowledge and understanding of complex enterprise systems and frameworks including frontends, middleware, services layer, database, backend and downstream interfaces
  • Knowledge and understanding of technical writing: storage, middleware, or virtualization
  • Knowledge of Kubernetes containerization strategy
