Job Title: Data Center Technician (Level 1–2)
Location: Baie D’Urfe (main), Lasalle, Pointe-Claire, Varennes — rotation between sites may be required
Pay Rate : $18- $21/hr without benefits
Duration: 3-month contract (possible extension)

Key Responsibilitie:

• Perform break-fix repair of servers, network devices, and related hardware.
• Troubleshoot hardware components such as CPUs, memory, motherboards, hard drives, and power shelves (PSUs).
• Support data center infrastructure operations including power and cooling events.
• Assist with rack installation, cabling, and physical deployment of equipment.
• Diagnose and resolve network connectivity issues at the physical and logical levels.
• Coordinate with internal teams (Engineering, DCO, Logistics, Security) and third-party vendors.
• Maintain accurate incident and maintenance documentation.
• Contribute to the growth and development of other team members.
• Identify and suggest process improvements to enhance data center efficiency.

Required Qualifications

• Strong hands-on experience in hardware troubleshooting (CPU, memory, PSU, drives, motherboard).1–3 years of experience in hardware or networking support (entry to intermediate level).
• Familiarity with Windows Server environments; basic Linux knowledge a plus.
• Understanding of network connectivity troubleshooting (Ethernet, cabling, IP configuration).
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills — ability to “think outside the box.”
• Bilingual (French & English) — must be able to read, write, and communicate effectively in both languages.
• Valid driver’s license and access to a personal vehicle for site travel.
• Physically able to lift up to 50 lbs and perform hands-on rack and hardware work.
• Eligible for Reliability Status clearance (minimum 5 years continuous residency in Canada).
