Job Title: CAD Technician

Location: Bellevue/Seattle, WA- onsite

Duration: 6+ Months- possible extension/conversion

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $ 30.00/hr- $35.00/hr .

Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

• We're looking for an outstanding mechanical (CAD) engineer who combines superb technical and analytical capabilities with a demonstrated ability to get the right things done quickly and effectively.
• This individual will be responsible for creating both detailed and high-level drawings of warehouse design, material handling equipment, conveyors, work areas, and fulfillment center storage solutions based on current templates, as well as design support for future templates. Drawings will require a high level of detail in 3D (Revit) based layouts, as well as 2D (AutoCAD) plan views, and corresponding elevation views.

REQUIRED Qualifications

• Bachelor's Degree or higher in a STEM field-: industrial engineer, mechanical engineer, physical engineering, aerospace, physic major, math major (any math heavy focused)
• 3+ years’ professional experience working in AutoCAD and Revit (software)
• Strong communication and writing skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with ambiguous direction
• Ability to establish priorities, work independently or within a group, and work with minimal supervision.

 Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering, Industrial Engineering, or similar.
• 5+ years professional experience in a fast-paced design environment utilizing both AutoCAD and Revit, including layout and sheet creation
• Knowledge of material handling equipment, conveyors, sortation systems, storage systems, and warehouse design
• Familiarity with online file document management systems, such as BIM360 and ACC

• Parametric modeling background with experience creating detailed families/parts/dynamic blocks that utilize code or functions to drive modularity
