Position Details:
Client: Medical Devices Company
Position Title: R&D Engineer
Duration: 06 months (Possibilities of extension)
Location: St. Paul, MN 55117 (Onsite)
Pay Range: $50/hr to $55/hr

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and evaluate cybersecurity models for medical device products.
• Conduct cybersecurity risk assessments on mechanical and electro-mechanical components and systems.
• Support product security architecture and ensure integration within product development lifecycles.
• Oversee cybersecurity testing and validation processes.
• Prepare and maintain documentation in accordance with regulatory and quality requirements.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams in R&D to ensure cybersecurity compliance.

Required Skills & Experience:

• Proven experience in Cybersecurity and Product Security.
• Strong knowledge of FDA cybersecurity regulations and guidance for medical devices.
• Familiarity with industry-standard security frameworks, including:
  NIST Cybersecurity Framework (CSF) 2.0
  OWASP
  ISO standards

Preferred Qualifications:

• Background in Medical Devices or Healthcare industry.
• Experience with embedded systems and product development cybersecurity.
• Understanding of security architecture and cybersecurity model design.
