Job Title: Application Production Support Engineer

Location: Bryant Park
Work Arrangement: Onsite
Client Industry: Banking 
Duration: 12 -18 months Contract 
Schedule:  Monday to Friday 

 Must Haves:

• Strong knowledge of Global Markets technology ecosystem and Equities domain understanding. 
   
• Proficiency in Linux, SQL, Python, Java, and messaging platforms. 
   
• Experience with monitoring tools such as Dynatrace, Splunk, and ITRS Geneos. 
   
• Familiarity with ITIL (Remedy/ServiceNow), Jira, Autosys, Ansible, Grafana, and Grid computing. 
   
• Knowledge of Tibco, MQ, Cloud, and OpenShift. 
   
• 5+ years of hands-on experience in application support/development for critical trading platforms. 
   
• Experience with distributed application platforms: Windows, UNIX, LINUX, SQL. -
• Ability to lead triage and solve production outage situations under tight deadlines. 
   
• Excellent verbal and written communication skills. 
   
• Knowledge of ITIL SDLC principles and execution. 
   
• Experience in coordinating with offshore/onshore support, business, vendor, and infrastructure partners. 

• Provide technical support for end-user requests and issues related to Equities Derivatives Swaps. 
• Manage application platform monitoring and support. 
• Conduct root cause analysis and implement preventative actions to ensure service stability. 
• Lead incident problem management activities and onboard applications. 
• Communicate effectively with stakeholders for front office trading applications. 
• Collaborate with a global production services team to ensure stable release deployments and platform stability. 

Compensation 

Hourly Rate: 68$-73$ per hour 
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
