Position Title: Industrial Process Engineer
Duration: 3–6 Month Contract (possible extension)
Location: Onsite – Casa Grande, AZ

Responsbilities:

• Design and optimize workstation layouts and assembly line flow using AutoCAD and line balancing tools.
• Conduct process capability studies, time analysis, and continuous improvement projects to enhance throughput and quality.
• Develop and validate PFMEA, SOPs, and standard work documentation for new and existing processes.
• Collaborate with manufacturing, logistics, and quality teams to improve line efficiency and integrate kitting and material flow solutions.
• Support pilot builds and production trials by analyzing data and implementing corrective actions.

Must Have:

• 6-8+ years of industrial or manufacturing engineering experience in automotive or EV production environments.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD and line balancing tools (MODAPS, MTM) for workstation and process design.
• Hands-on experience with PFMEA, process validation (Cp/Cpk), and standard work documentation.
• Strong command of Lean Manufacturing tools such as VSM, Kaizen, Poka-Yoke, and Kanban systems.
• Proven experience implementing kitting and line-side material delivery strategies in high-volume assembly operations.

NiceToHave:

• Experience with AGVs, tuggers, and kanban rack systems for automated material handling.
• Familiarity with MES systems and digital manufacturing tools.
• Background with supermarket and FIFO flow setups for optimized material presentation.
