Title: Material flow engineer 
Duration: 3–6 Month Contract (possible extension) 
Location: Onsite – Casa Grande, AZ 85193  
Rate: $58-62/Hr

Responsbilities:

• Develop and optimize material flow routes, supermarket layouts, and kitting strategies for line-side delivery.
• Execute lean manufacturing improvements, motion studies, and line balancing to reduce waste and manpower.
• Partner with logistics, production, manufacturing, and tooling teams to align process flow and resource utilization.
• Support prototype builds, production trials, and PFEP documentation.
• Track performance data and create layouts and process visuals using AutoCAD, Tableau, and Excel.

Must Have:

• 6-8+ years of Material Flow or Industrial Engineering experience in automotive or EV manufacturing.
• Proven success designing and implementing kitting systems and line-side delivery for high-volume production.
• Strong understanding of Lean Manufacturing, waste elimination, line balancing, and process optimization.
• Proficiency in AutoCAD, Excel, and PFEP creation for material flow and layout design.
• Experience working cross-functionally with Manufacturing, Logistics, Tooling, and Quality teams.

NiceToHave:

• Experience with fleet management, material handling systems, or simulation tools (Tableau, Siemens Plant Simulation).
• Familiarity with ERP/MRP systems such as SAP for planning and production tracking.
• Background in pilot builds, prototype launches, or early-stage process trials.
