About the Role:

• The Registered Respiratory Therapist has advanced knowledge and training of the cardiopulmonary system that is used to manage and treat patients. Therapists will use different scientific principles, therapies, and techniques to optimize patient care and outcomes.

Responsibilities:

• Provide and direct high-quality respiratory care services, including oxygen therapy, aerosol therapy, ventilation management, and bedside testing.

• Review physician orders and diagnostic results to determine appropriate therapy and implement approved respiratory care protocols.

• Perform routine and advanced respiratory procedures, prioritizing patient needs in a dynamic, fast-paced clinical environment.

• Educate patients on the proper use of respiratory equipment and assess treatment effectiveness to optimize outcomes.

• Accurately document all care provided, maintain detailed patient records, and report results and recommendations to the care team.

• Ensure compliance with all hospital policies, including infection control, HIPAA, and quality improvement standards.

• Demonstrate strong critical thinking, teamwork, and communication skills while providing compassionate, professional care under pressure.

Salary and Other Compensation:
