Job Summary:

We are seeking a skilled Archer Developer with strong hands-on experience in development, configuration, and administration of RSA Archer solutions. The ideal candidate will have a solid understanding of business processes, system integrations, and advanced workflow configurations. This role involves collaborating with cross-functional teams to design, develop, and implement Archer solutions that support key risk management and governance initiatives.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, develop, and configure RSA Archer applications to meet business and technical requirements.

• Perform integrations between Archer and other systems, ensuring seamless data flow and functionality.

• Participate in Agile development activities including Java sprints, user story creation, QA testing support, and production implementation.

• Develop and maintain Archer Advanced Workflows to automate complex business processes.

• Manage Archer access control and security configuration (Roles, Groups, Record Permissions).

• Create and maintain Forms, Subforms, Fields, Layouts, Questionnaires, and Data-Driven Events.

• Develop and maintain Data Feeds, APIs, Notifications, Calculated Fields, Reports, Dashboards, iViews, and Mail Merge templates.

• Support custom RSA Archer use cases such as IT Risk Management, Operational Resilience, Business Continuity/Disaster Recovery (BC/DR), and Third-Party Risk Management.

• Integrate data feeds into RSA Archer using HTTP, XSLT transformations, databases, file systems, and JavaScript transporters.

• Provide technical support, troubleshooting, and enhancements for existing Archer implementations.

• Collaborate with business stakeholders to translate functional requirements into effective technical solutions.

Must-Have Qualifications:

• 3–5 years of hands-on experience as an RSA Archer Developer/Administrator in a medium-to-large organization.

• Proficiency with RSA Archer versions 6.0 and above (preferably v6.8 or higher).

• Strong understanding of Archer Advanced Workflows (beyond standard workflows).

• Experience with Archer core components including:

  • Access Management (Roles, Groups, Record Permissions)

  • Forms, Subforms, Applications, and Questionnaires

  • Data Feeds, APIs, Notifications, Calculated Fields

  • Cross-References, Mail Merge, Data Imports, iViews, Dashboards, and Reports

  • Value Lists and Package Migrations

• Demonstrated ability to understand business functionality and translate it into technical configurations.

• Proven integration experience with external systems.

Preferred Skills & Nice-to-Haves:

• Background in software development (Java, JavaScript, XML, .NET, etc.)

• Experience with SQL Server Management Studio and writing SQL scripts.

• Familiarity with data publication and transformation techniques.

• Archer Administration certification is an asset, but practical, hands-on experience is mandatory.
