About role:

The Registered Nurse will deliver patient-centered care using the BSWH nursing practice model, performing comprehensive assessments and developing individualized care plans.
The role involves ensuring safe patient transitions, collaborating with multidisciplinary teams, and providing high-quality care across inpatient and outpatient settings.

Responsibility:

• Registered Nurse role for BSWH, requiring a licensed RN with certifications in BLS, and 5+ years of PACU experience.

• Responsible for delivering patient-centered care using the BSWH Professional Practice Model, including assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, and evaluation.

• Performs accurate clinical assessments, prioritizes patient/family needs, and modifies care plans to meet expected clinical outcomes.

• Participates in evidence-based practice, quality improvement initiatives, and evaluates the effectiveness of nursing practices and patient outcomes.

• Creates a compassionate, safe, and therapeutic environment while managing patient comfort, emotional needs, and physical well-being.

• Advocates for patient rights, integrates cultural and individual differences into care plans, and ensures confidentiality and ethical decision-making.

• Educates patients, families, and staff throughout the care continuum and collaborates with interdisciplinary team members to ensure seamless care delivery.

• Demonstrates professionalism through continuous learning, critical thinking, effective communication, and proficiency with electronic medical documentation and hospital systems.
