Job Title: Production Support Market Data Analyst

Duration: 12 Months Contract
Schedule: 1 PM – 9 PM CST (Monthly weekend on-call & rotational holidays)

About the Role:

We are hiring a Production Support Market Data Analyst to join our client’s technology and market data operations team on a contract basis. This is an excellent opportunity to support mission-critical applications and work with one of the most innovative financial services organizations in the U.S. You will help ensure stability, reliability, and efficiency across market data platforms in a highly regulated and fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities:

• Serve as the first point of contact for business requests and production issues
• Monitor and support critical trading system environments
• Coordinate release implementations and perform post-release validation
• Troubleshoot complex application, workflow, and system issues
• Partner closely with business stakeholders, developers, and infrastructure teams
• Identify system bottlenecks and proactively drive stability improvements
• Utilize Python scripting for automation, monitoring, and troubleshooting
• Support and maintain Oozie workflows for batch jobs
• Develop reporting and dashboards (Tableau) for performance insights

What We’re Looking For:

• Experience as a Production Support Analyst or similar role
• Strong proficiency in Python scripting
• Hands-on experience with Oozie workflows (batch management, monitoring, issue resolution)
• Experience working in Linux/Unix environments
• Strong SQL query writing skills
• Ability to work effectively in high-pressure environments with tight deadlines
• Experience with Tableau for reporting and analysis
• Nice to have: Experience with trading applications, bankruptcy workflows, and Autosys scheduling

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $53 – $55 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
