Position Details:
Client: Healthcare
Title: Billing Specialist (Medical)
Duration: 6 months contract (Extension/Conversion based on performance)
Location: Livermore, CA 94550 (Onsite)
Pay Range: $24/hr. $25/hr.
Required Skills:
• Strong medical billing and insurance knowledge
• Experience with customer service in a healthcare setting
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Please pre screen candidates for the required skills and ensure they are prepared for interview questions.
RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Communicate with up to 50 patients each day through phone calls and emails in a professional and courteous manner.
- Process correspondence, as assigned.
- Performs other related duties as assigned.
- Follows all HIPAA guidelines.
COMPETENCIES:
- Familiarity with performance metrics and ability to meet identified targets required
- Working knowledge of HIPAA and the Affordable Care Act;
