Pay Range: $34.00 - $39.00 per hour
- Develop and execute cell-based functional assays using cell lines and primary mammalian tissue cells, measuring activation, differentiation, and effector function.
- Perform molecular and cellular biology techniques, including FACS, ELISA, MSD, and HTRF.
- Isolate and culture immune cells (T cells, myeloid cells) from human and mouse tissues.
- Design, execute, and interpret experimental data to validate project-specific hypotheses.
- Adapt scientific literature and internal protocols to develop and optimize assays.
- Implement and innovate new experimental protocols and technologies as needed.
- Analyze, document, and report experimental data rigorously to both individual stakeholders and group meetings.
- Contribute scientific excellence across multiple projects in a fast-paced, multidisciplinary environment.
- Drive impact primarily through hands-on laboratory execution.
- Master’s degree in Biological Sciences or related field with 2–3 years of biotech or pharma experience. PHD is overqualified
- Strong experience in in vitro cell culture, sterile technique, and development of cell-based assays.
- Hands-on experience with human PBMC functional assays and immune cell work (T cells, myeloid cells).
- Proficiency in immunoassays, including multi-color flow cytometry and ELISA/MSD/HTRF.
- Ability to work independently, interpret data, and communicate clearly in written and oral formats.
- Proven ability to operate effectively in a fast-paced research environment.
- Experience with mouse tissue processing for immune profiling (no direct mouse handling required).
- Knowledge of DNA/RNA workflows and molecular biology techniques such as PCR and qPCR.
- Strong problem-solving ability, creativity, and attention to detail.
- Demonstrated flexibility to adapt to shifting priorities and changing timelines.
