Techincal Skills:
Must Have:

• Authentication Experience (SAML, SSO, MFA, certificate mgmt, OAuth, login flows, etc)
• Automation & CI/CD tools such as Selenium, UIAutomator (Java based)
• CI/CD pipeline
• Fluency in Java or Scala
• Git
• Jenkins
• Object Oriented programming, design patterns, distributed systems

Nice To Have:

• MySQL
• Performance testing (Gatling)

Reason for Opening:

• They are looking at expanding the Security and Identification Authentication and more work is needed.

About the Team:

• The team handles all Identity and Authentication for the client and their customers.
• They are looking at the system functionality and automation and testing is very robust.
• They are revamping the infrastructure.
• They need to support functional code and help to determine where we need to invest, build pipeline, reduce time, and ship code faster.

Must Have:

• 8 years of JAVA - Most important
• Demonstrated expertise in building and managing robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git
• Proficient in writing effective automated tests (e.g., Selenium or Playwright) – a couple of years

Nice to Have:

• Priority: understanding Security flows
• Scala and MySQL

They will be starting off with getting tickets assigned to them, run some tests and get acquainted, and then ease them in to revamping and being a part of everything.
Core Responsibilities:

• Implementing, testing and deploying services with robust unit tests and metrics
• Working closely with product managers to understanding customer needs and translating it to software requirements and execution plans
• Delivering quality features on-time and on-budget and implementing towards project plans and delivery commitments
• Handle the day-to-day development activities, participate in design review, code review, and implementation

Basic Qualifications:

• 8+ years of hands-on software development experience, with a proven track record of designing, building, and shipping production-grade software.
• Expert-level proficiency in Java or Scala
• Strong command of software design patterns and extensive experience designing, building, and operating scalable, high-availability distributed systems.
• Demonstrated expertise in building and managing robust CI/CD pipelines using tools like Jenkins and Git.
• You are proficient in writing effective automated tests to ensure software quality and reliability (e.g., Selenium).
• Solid expertise across the entire SDLC, from requirements gathering and design specification/review to implementation, unit testing, and system/performance analysis.
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.
• Practical experience implementing and working with modern authentication and authorization standards like OAuth, SAML, SSO, MFA, or x509.
• Experience developing and deploying applications on a major cloud platform (e.g., AWS, GCP, Azure).
• Familiarity working in an Agile/Scrum development environment.

Other Qualifications:

• Experience with SaaS security infrastructure
• Experience with Scala and MySQL
