About the Role:

We are hiring an AWS Cloud Engineer to join our client’s cloud engineering team on a contract basis. This is a fantastic opportunity to work with one of the most innovative financial technology organizations in the U.S. You’ll help drive cloud automation, application deployment, and secure AI/ML integrations across mission-critical platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, deploy, and manage scalable cloud infrastructure on AWS
• Configure and maintain AWS Bedrock services for AI/ML and generative AI integrations
• Implement Infrastructure as Code (IaC) using Terraform
• Use Helm charts to package and deploy Kubernetes-based applications
• Support deployment and integration of a vendor SaaS platform in a secure cloud environment
• Collaborate with cross-functional engineering and vendor teams
• Monitor performance, troubleshoot cloud/application issues, and optimize resource usage
• Ensure compliance with cloud security standards and best practices
• Create and maintain documentation for architecture, processes, and operational procedures
• What We’re Looking For: 3+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or similar role
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services, AWS Bedrock, and AI/ML tools
• Proficiency in Terraform, Helm, Docker, and Kubernetes
• Experience with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows
• Solid understanding of networking and security in cloud environments
• Strong communication and cross-team collaboration skills
• AWS Certifications (e.g., Solutions Architect, DevOps Engineer) preferred
• Experience with observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana) is a plus

Compensation:

Hourly Rate: $65 – $70 per hour
This range reflects base compensation and may vary based on location, market conditions, experience, and candidate qualifications.
