About the Role

• We are seeking a Level 2 MAPS Finance Risk Analyst to join our team on the second shift in Chicago.
• This role is essential for supporting the FICC Risk operations across all Markets Lines of Business.
• The ideal candidate will thrive in a high-pressure trading environment and be adept at quickly processing information from various sources.
• This position demands a strong problem solver who can adhere to strict procedures and guidelines, including incident, service request, and change management.

Responsibilities

• Serve as the first point of contact for business requests and reported impacts.
• Monitor and alert critical trading system environments.
• Implement releases and conduct post-release testing.
• Build and maintain strong partnerships with business stakeholders, application development personnel, and infrastructure contacts.
• Troubleshoot complex systems issues.
• Proactively identify and resolve problem hotspots.
• Develop tools and drive efficiency/stability improvements.
• Lead daily technical change meetings and manage global resources through the change process.
• Generate reports using presentation and analysis tools like Tableau and MS Office.
• Ensure adherence to written procedures and policies for Change Management.

Education Qualification

• A degree in a relevant field such as Finance, Computer Science, or Information Technology is preferred.

Required Skills

• Ability to rationalize the impact of multiple concurrent issues/requests and prioritize work accordingly.
• Independent motivation to continuously improve oneself and the environment.
• Intuitive problem-solving ability leading to solution alternatives.
• Confidence, focus, and adaptable communication style for coordinating restoration efforts for high-impact technology incidents.
• Technical proficiency in operating systems such as Solaris, Linux, and Windows.
• Familiarity with scripting languages like Unix Shell, Perl, Python, and SQL (Intermediate level: multi-table joins, grouping results, etc.).
• Understanding of grid computing and batch management.
• Well-rounded understanding of infrastructure disciplines (network, server, storage, messaging).
• Experience with Python, incident, problem, and release management, and ITRS Enterprise monitoring.
• Experience supporting traders is beneficial.

Compensation

• Hourly Rate: $60 - $65 per hour
  This reflects base compensation and may vary based on candidate qualifications.
