Job Title: Wireless Test Engineer

Location: San Ramon, CA 

Duration: 24+ Months- possible extension/conversion

Salary and Other Compensation:

The hourly rate for this position is between $ 45.00/hr- $ 50.00/hr .

Factors which may affect pay within this range may include geography/market, skills, education, experience, and other qualifications of the successful candidate.

• 5+ years’ experience in telecom or networking environments.
• Strong understanding of wireline, wireless, and telecom systems.
• Familiar with SIP, RTP, TCP/IP networking protocols and troubleshooting tools (e.g., Wireshark).
• Ability to interpret and analyze SIP error codes and call failures.
• Testing mindset — understands control groups, knowns vs. unknowns, and iterative validation.
• Prior experience in 911 industry (dispatcher, police, emergency response).
• Solid communication skills and analytical troubleshooting ability.
• Strong understanding of routers, switches, and firewalls and how they interconnect.
