MISSION:
Deliver two complex IAM workstreams—focused on Role-Based Access Control (RBAC) and Segregation of Duties (SoD)—as part of a high-stakes $45M enterprise program. This PM must be a seasoned leader (15–25+ years) who brings both senior project management capability and IAM domain expertise, ensuring compliant role design, strong security controls, and alignment with SOX while navigating heavy interdependencies, difficult stakeholders, and aggressive timelines.
DAY TO DAY:
This PM will own end-to-end delivery of two complex IAM projects, driving scope, timelines, RAID, budgets, and stakeholder alignment across a highly interdependent $45M enterprise program. They will lead discussions on role-based access design, security controls, and SoD requirements—providing direction without needing to build roles themselves—while working closely with RBAC analysts, system integrators, finance and audit teams, cybersecurity, SAP partners, and the broader 30-person cross-functional group. The role requires a hands-on, influential leader who can manage difficult personalities, negotiate priorities, and actively steer technical and compliance decisions tied to RBAC, SoD, Saviynt, AD, and ServiceNow integrations. In their first 30 day they will learn the players and landscape, and by 60–90 day they will be fully driving delivery, escalating effectively, and keeping multiple workstreams aligned to program milestones.
MUST-HAVES:
- 15–25+ years in the industry, with 5–10+ years in IAM, RBAC, or SoD-heavy projects.
- Strong understanding of how RBAC roles are designed, approved, secured, and maintained (lifecycle expertise).
- Deep understanding of Segregation of Duties, SoD risks, SoD violations, and why proper design matters.
- Working knowledge of SOX and the controls needed for compliant IAM.
- Can act as both Senior PM + IAM SME, offering credible guidance to architects, RBAC teams, security, and audit.
- Experience with interdependent enterprise programs where multiple workstreams affect each other.
- Strong communication, decisive leadership, and ability to manage difficult personalities.
- Confident, seasoned presence—someone with the maturity and life experience to command a room.
- Technically comfortable: MS tools + ability to work with ServiceNow, Saviynt, and AD at a conceptual/integration level.
PLUSSES:
- Familiarity with IGA tools (Saviynt ideal, but any IGA exposure helps).
- Understanding of manual vs. automated controls (finance and IT perspectives).
- Knowledge of how IAM systems integrate via APIs, AD, or ServiceNow workflows.
- Experience leading IAM or RBAC implementations in large, regulated organizations.
- Comfort explaining access flows, provisioning paths, and SoD escalation processes.
